Chess Packaging

Don't be afraid to fail is a chess packaging design project with a motivational quote on the front of pack. I thought expressing failure by loosing a chess game is a good metaphor for growth. In our perfectionistic culture it is good to remind ourselves that we are not perfect, and we can learn and grow constantly if we own our mistakes and look at ourselves with kind eye. 

I wanted to design something minimalistic yet powerful. I wanted to use this king of gothic font. To choice of the visual was a process. I made the base chess pieces in Illustrator, create a 3D model there and exported them to Adobe Dimension. Then I added textures and lights. Choice of pink was a playful process.
